NOW MALAYSIA HAVE POOLS OF PLAYERS THAT CAN BE SELECTED FOR ANY INTERNATIONAL MATCHES IN FUTURE, DATO K AND AND MAESTRO ONG HAVE DONE US PROUD,ALL IN ALL THIS IS TRULY A MALAYSIAN EFFORT,FAM DECISION ON HAVING JUST LOCAL BASED PLAYERS AND BANNING IMPORT PLAYERS ARE THE REASON FOR THIS SUCCESS.I HOPE THIS SEASON OF SUPER AND PREMIER LEAGUE WITH IMPORT PLAYERS IN WILL NOT AFFECT THIS IMPROVEMENT

The deadlock was finally broken in controversial circumstances when Drogba won a free kick on the edge of the area and elected to take it himself. The striker laced the ball towards goal where it hit the far post before cannoning off the goalkeeper’s legs. The ball then bounced towards the goal before it was clawed away by the substitute goalkeeper Roslan. Despite appearing to not cross the line, the linesman gave the goal – handing Chelsea the win.
dimensionsiemens says:
The visitors continued their dominance throughout the second half but were equally as lacklustre in attack, despite completely changing their team.Jon Obi Mikel came close with a left-footed half-volley from 18 yards that flew wide of the far post just after the break.
dimensionsiemens says:
The striker bore down on goal but elected to shoot with his favoured right foot instead of his left, which would have been the better option, and fired wide. The goalkeeper was finally tested on the stroke of half time when substitute left-back Patrick van Aanholt exchanged a clever one-two with Florent Malouda as he found space in the penalty area. Through one-on-one, the defender stabbed his effort towards goal but Marlias was down well to his left to save.
dimensionsiemens says:
Marlias was on hand to beat the shot away.Frank Lampard who should have put his side in the lead on 17 minutes after a mix-up between Mohd Azmi and Norhafiz Misbar allowed Lampard a free shot from 15 yards. Uncharacteristically, the midfielder blazed his shot wide. The Premier League runners-up continued to search for the opening goal and it should have came half-way through the first half. Salomon Kalou superbly found Torres who made a neat run into the penalty area.
dimensionsiemens says:
The Blues were totally comfortable with the ball, despite the relatively poor pitch, but lacked any urgency or finesse in the final third. They often found themselves deep in their opponents half but really struggled in creating decent chances.Fernando Torres had the first chance after being fed through into the box by captain Frank Lampard. World Cup winner Torres seemed to have more time than he thought as he elected to shoot first-time from the edge of the box.
dimensionsiemens says:
Chelsea were the dominant side throughout the entire 90 minutes but were unable to convert a host of chances, until Didier Drogba’s controversial 80th minute free-kick rebounded off the post, hit goalkeeper Tarmizi Roslan and rebounded back into danger – the goal stood even though the keeper appeared to claw it off the line.
Chelsea dominated the opening half from the first whistle, barely allowing the Malaysian All-Stars to string more than a hand full of passes together at any one point.
dimensionsiemens says:
A controversial own-goal 10 minutes from time handed a lacklustre Chelsea side a 1-0 victory against a spirited Malaysia All-Star team in front of an 84,000 sell-out in Kuala Lumpur.
dimensionsiemens says:
GOAL!! Drogba’s free kick cannons off the far post before hitting the keepers legs and bouncing back towards the goal. The linesman gives the goal but it didn’t appear to have crossed the line.
